Drums aside, Panama is WAY more famous than Hot for Teacher. In fact, I'd almost say that Panama gives Jump a run for it's money in the fame department.
Had it been twenty years ago, Right Now might have been in consideration, but like most Sammy material, it just hasn't stood the test of time with the general public.
Think about it this way, if you're seeing a cover band, are they playing Jump, or are the playing Panama? Chances are, they're playing Panama. (helps to not need a keyboard player)

I'd be inclined to agree with this. Whenever our local station plays a VH song it us almost always Panama..then probably Running with the Devil.

The interesting thing about Right Now is that it wasn't a top 40 hit on the Pop charts. Can't Stop Lovin' You charted higher.

The correct answer is “Jump”, but since Eddie soloed on “Beat It”, as alluded to above, that is also a correct response. I’d put “Hot For Teacher” in about third.

Correct answer. Jump is being used in conjunction with the NBA on commercials airing “right now” on ESPN. That tells you where it’s at.

What amazes me most is this thread is 20+ posts in and no one has yet said, “I’m sure Sammy would claim it’s one of his VH songs!”
I’m a fan of Van Hagar and I get that the correct answer is Jump but this seems like low hanging fruit here.

Because there's nothing that stands out. "Right Now" is the most anthemic, but like others have said it wasn't a big hit on the charts. The video had more momentum.
