Arnold backs Kamala

Post by NeonKnite »

Schwarzenegger wrote: 'We need to close the door on this chapter of American history, and I know that former President Trump won’t do that.

'He will divide, he will insult, he will find new ways to be more un-American than he already has been, and we, the people, will get nothing but more anger.'

In his lengthy announcement, Schwarzenegger added: 'Let me be honest with you: I don’t like either party right now. My Republicans have forgotten the beauty of the free market, driven up deficits, and rejected election results.

'Democrats aren’t any better at dealing with deficits, and I worry about their local policies hurting our cities with increased crime.

'It is probably not a surprise that I hate politics more than ever, which, if you are a normal person who isn’t addicted to this crap, you probably understand,' he said, adding that he wants 'to tune out.'

He then touched on the controversial comment made by comedian Tony Hinchcliffe at the Madison Square Garden Trump rally Sunday, where he referred to Puerto Rico as 'an island of garbage'.

Schwarzenegger said: 'To someone like me who talks to people all over the world and still knows America is the shining city on a hill, calling America is a trash can for the world is so unpatriotic, it makes me furious.

'And I will always be an American before I am a Republican.

'That’s why, this week, I am voting for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz.'

I don't think it will be as close as they are saying.

Kamala will win by a decent margin.

Sorry Arnold, can't fool us .......anyone who calls out both parties is just a MAGA-tard trying "save face" for when Trump loses.

It needs to be a sizable margin to put Teflon Don to bed for good. Unfortunately, his impact will be felt for generations. His stench permeates the MAGAotts running for key offices... in North Carolina alone they have candidates for Governor, Attorney General, and Public Schools Superintendent.

It takes an otherwordly level of cynicism to vote for these turds... or a brain of mush by FOX.

Never underestimate our country's ability to be both sexist AND racist.

That's part of their long game. Like blocking Obama from noninating to the Supreme Court then packing it full of fiscal and social conservatives who, barring heart attacks, will control it for decades to come. Plus they already tried to subvert your bizarre electoral college system in 2020 and they've had 4 more years to strategise and get people in place this time, to get Donald the nominations that should go to Kamala. If she doesn't win bigly, you - and by association us - are toast.

It is amazing the influence that one person had on an entire party. They all live in fear of him because his base worships him.

This should be it though. He won't run when he is 82. He is too tired to do it now....and it shows.

Then his rallies become 'public speaking engagements' and it is all just pure income. No more accounting for campaign finance purposes. It's a win-win for him. He doesn't have to do the work of a President, and the income stream stays constant.

I think it is fair to say that there are problems on both sides of the aisle, while also recognizing that one side has a MUCH bigger problem. It is the lesser of two evils, but the gap in evil-ness is huge.

I’d go for that plus Goldberg is a Jew so he’d be willing to go heel and cheat Hulk out of a victory.

Sure he'll run. He'll never stop.

Both parties do suck and I'm no MAGA-tard. If you can't see that both parties only care about themselves and can't reach a compromise on anything, you are blind. I do agree that one party is worse than the other. Long gone are the days where the parties would put their differences aside reach a compromise to get things done.

Without assigning blame to any particular party, this here is the problem. Everything is always about the next election. You don't want to give "the other side" a victory that will make them look good when that might hurt your own party's chance of winning next time. But, the government can't just do NOTHING, so instead they do the absolute bare minimum to keep things running but rarely actually solve any problems in a sustainable way. The system is broken, with no signs of ever going back.

Blame should be assigned to one particular party - the republicans. They've done nothing for 2 years except argue over which idiot from their party should be in charge of Congress.
