Is silence respect when Sludgers post their own music?

I recorded this track recently and as always partially to give my Sludger friends something to talk about. Usually it's the guys that have nothing nice to say that respond. On my last music post, a cover of Fire and Ice, one dude even put it through a computer program to detect flaws.. That's dedication!
So if nobody chimes in with criticism could that be interpreted as begrudging recognition that there is talent there?

If so, awww, guys... that's so sweet!

When you posted this a few weeks ago I checked it out, but didn't know what it was. Too much going on with something about an Inner Circle tribute to a song recorded by you? Anyhow, I just skipped through and pretty cool. Still don't know what it is, however, I look the groovy vibe. Well done.

Most people wont take the time to listen to an artist they've never heard of unless they know you personally.

Nah, our parents just taught us "If you don't have anything nice to say..."

Disinterest. There are too many people using this forum as a platform. Only a few are any good.

It’s interesting, has an Air vibe to it. I’m not sure if Trixter fans are gonna vibe with it, but I think it’s cool.

In my experience most folks are generally nice or at least constructive when it’s the last thing I expect since Sludge is pretty much slang for talking shit.

Ever since the Michael Hott and Ramsey Cruz threads I will not click links for Sludger covers or originals. It’s respect to be nice and not slag someone’s creativity.

7:02 of Inner Garbage- who would pass this up?
Silence = nobody gives a f*ck :lol:

My favorite things about Sludge
1. “reviews “ from the Sludge male Gerri Miller
2. Shipping/ ordering complaints from Dial MTV #3 fans in 2024 and beyond
3 . attempting “music” why does everyone hate it
4 . Failure moving to LA then returning home tales
5. Beach chair backpack walking adventures/reviews

I don’t know how you even managed to get that sound out of a guitar. And then the nursery rhyme lyrics came in and I stopped it and put on Monkees Mary Mary instead.
Well at least the first 30 seconds were okay. You're talking about when the lead comes in? I can tell you there's nothing remotely AI there. Thats cool it encouraged you to put on the Monkees.

Thanks. Yeah it's a cover of a song by Inner Circle. I added a verse about the singer Jacob Miller who passed away

I always aim to please Trixter fans but I never do.

I liked your high school band playing crazy train. You should reunite with that band.

That would be fun. I did post a video of Crazy Train but it was from 2005. The high school one was Mr. Crowley. We're all still alive, stranger things have happened.
