Exactly. Skid Row lost their major record deal when Sebastian left. He wanted to open for KISS during their 1996 reunion tour, but Snake refused, depriving the band of a great chance to play to huge crowds again.

Fast forward nearly 30 years, and we know Bach or Affuso aren't the problem here. Snake and Scotti boycotted every chance to do things right.

It wasn't a tour. It was a New Years Eve show that they were offered in '96

The billing in every town they play says different.

Wait, do you play in Affuso’s wedding band?

"""""""""""""Skid Row lost their major record deal when Sebastian left.""""""""""""""

Not true at all.

That "Major Label Deal" was going away, regardless.

Similarly those Major Label Deals went away for Warrant, Winger, Whitesnake and 50 others from the era.

And if it was ALL Bach, how come Atlantic didn't sign him after the band fired him? Or any other major label for that matter?

When they are on their sixth drummer and fifth singer, yes, I care.

there's a lot to be said for 'original recipe' type band situations

change one thing and it just ain't the same

This band could be printing money if they put all of the pieces in place. But no, They have no lead singer in November 2024. No music, no band, nothing. Everyone forgot about the Lzzy Hale thing for months ago. Nobody outside of this board cares about Bach being the bad guy in 1991 etc.

If it was just Bach, wouldn't Affuso be with the others? Or does he not want the headache either?

Scab Row just won't cut it.

Bach is comfortable with his current band, the recent release and his limited vocal range. Given the limitation, he couldn't handle the demands of the original SR material. His voice has significantly deteriorated over the past 3 decades.

SR is likely to seek a younger vocalist with the potential to match the quality of Erik G.

Regarding Affuso, his drumming abilities have not been widely praised as exceptional.
