I really like Hot Dog. Probably in the minority though.
I also like Christian Sixteen. Good groove. Although I can understand the criticism of the lyrics

That Beach Boys song is 2:50. Felt like seven minutes.

Not the first time they've clutched their pearls about Christine Sixteen:

Yeah Hot Dog is awesome. I knew a guy who did an acoustic version down the shore.

All Bachman Turner Overdrive songs should be deleted.

It's annoying and used to be in heavy rotation. I hope it is not these days. Classic Rock radio sucks.

Yeah, you're right. I used to get sick of a lot of classic rock songs, I don't mind them now, like Edgar Winter's Frankenstein. BTO still sucks though.

I think I'm the one person in the world that likes GnR's "My World".
I think it's fun.
Now the rap that Axl used to do live during Rocket Queen is a different story....

That's hilarious. "It tastes good. Don't it?"

One song on my list is Black Betty. I can't stand that shit.
I know the original song goes back to the 1930s, but that isn't the version played on the radio. Ram Jam, JFC.

It is. I've always advised to listen closely to the rhythm section performance. Super tight and elastic at the same time. Absolutely amazing.

The most frustrating ones are classic rock anointed artists who have tons of great songs in their catalog and somehow the radio manages to land on that artist's worst songs as the only ones to play over and over ad nauseum. To me, the best example is Queen. You hear the good stuff once in a blue moon (or never); you hear "Another One Bites The Dust" 20 times a day.

I've always hated "Hot Dog". Part of it sounds like Page is playing with ski gloves on, and his left hand can't keep up.

first time i've heard many of these...wtf was that vh tune? eddie trying to be pink floyd ala the final cut??...always liked christine sixteen despite the somewhat disturbing implications of the lyrics (didn't bother at the time because i was 9 years old so 16 seemed like ancient to me lol)...the music and groove is pretty cool...d.m.
