About Guitar Center, I took the bass I want to sell there to get new strings put on. They did not have a tech there to do it on Monday. I got it back Wednesday. Two days to put strings on a bass.

I'm a guitar player. I used the bass years ago for recording. I haven't recorded in a while. That's why I may sell it. Don't wanna bother learning how to do it since I may not play bass again for years.

I didn’t ask why you would put new strings on, I asked why you would pay someone to do it. There’s no tech skill required at all. Even if you’d never done it before, a two minute YouTube video would teach you everything you need to know about the process.
