He could have kept that comment to himself, honestly.
I sure everyone understands him leaving but he left the tour. Kenny learned the set in 24 hours and saved their asses. Kenny deserves the work if we wants it after bailing them out. and shit, it's not like Jason needs the money.

Scammy just doing Scammy like things. He fired his life long friend and drummer because his wife got cancer.

When he was on that Supergroup show, Bonzo Jr. was 2nd to Bach at being a flake and a diva.

I have zero recollection of Bonham being on that show.

'Cause he kinda wasn't... he was either off touring with Fauxreigner or getting therapy for carpal tunnel most of the time. The only storyline I remember him having is that he didn't like the Biohazard song that they had to play, so he threw a shitfit and refused to learn it until the last minute.

The conflict situations in that show were so obviously orchestrated even by reality TV standards.

You're wrong, Uncle Ped was the one who wanted nothing to do with Biohazard's tune, and learnt it at the last minute.

No, we're both right. I forgot that Ped wasn't big on it either.

Never cared for Jason. I forget the name of the band (I have their CD) but I saw them once in a club open for someone. They were really good and I thought their drummer really good.
Not long after, I heard Jason wanted the gig, so they booted their drummer out for the guy with the name. They lasted 5 minutes after that.
Jason was very good @ the Zeppelin O2 show, but damn he's been living off his father's name for his entire life and it's off putting if you ask me.
I don't even think he's anything special as a drummer, unless he's playing his father's stuff.

I don’t remember him being a diva, just contributing pretty much nothing. That Evan Seinfeld guy lost it and attacked Bach.
IIRC, they were horsing around, but when Bach got the upper hand Seinfeld couldn't handle it and lost his cool.

His dad band was garbage - his tribute band was actually worse- total music pollution
Should have signed contract

can’t fire you if your mommy gets cancer
Seems like win for everyone he doesn’t have to play overrated Van Halen anymore
Best Of Both Worlds his crap career
Ted Poley drummer way better than this dork and his dork fans#naughtynaughty

Agreed. He was fine when I saw him playing with Hagar in 2022, but he wasn't doing anything that any other drummer couldn't do. Hagar could have had anyone in that roll.
I don't remember him complaining about playing/learning Punishment (doesn't mean it didn't happen, I just don't remember it), but I'll agree, he definitely was the most boring out of any of the "members". Ted specifically complained about Punishment because he felt like it had too many changes in it.

He didn't bring much to the show either. I think the only reason they picked him was his pornstar wife.

Jason's mother is still with us right? so if That's the Case I understand Sammy's decision ...too big of a risk of Jason bailing out again during the residency.

I saw Kenny's name on the bill and thought 'I don't remember that', so this explains it.
There are probably many different reasons it didn't work out, his Mom getting cancer isn't one of them.
Kenny is a great drummer, at the top of the heap according to me at least.
I am waaay more interested in this line up, I see a Vegas trip in my future.

Oh I am willing to bet there is way more to the story than they got rid of Bonham because he had to leave the tour.
I agree with people saying all Jason Bonham has done is lived off his dad's legacy. I never was a fan of Zeppelin, Thought they sucked and way over rated.

The Healing Sixes. They were a local Indianapolis band that got the tour opening for Bonham's band. And the way you described it is exactly what happened.
I took lessons from their drummer (Tony) and we are still friends to this day. He's a beast of a drummer and could outplay JB with one arm.

Kenny Aronoff would cost more than Jason Bonham. He's one of the most respected drummers in the industry. Good score for Sammy.

Yes! The drummer was totally killer.
I rarely buy CDs at a show, but they impressed me enough that I bought theirs.

Kenny is a MUCH more interesting drummer than is Bonham. Bonham isn't band, but he just isn't all that interesting. Kenny is really good and can groove better.
