Would you rather see Motley Crue with Vince Neil or Sebastian Bach?
See Motley Crue with their original singer who can't sing and struggles with the lyrics.
Or with Bach who is past his prime but is still one of the best 80s frontmen currently on the road.

Well, considering Skid Row fired him, and wants nothing to do with him... what do you think the chances are Motley Crue would ever hire this goof?
But... I get it... the "fan boy" in you just can't let go of the drunken mess that is Bach.

This is obviously a hyperthetical question. I would chose Vince by the way. A mention of Bach really is the bat signal for youMetalSludgeCEO wrote: ↑Thu Nov 21, 2024 9:40 am Well, considering Skid Row fired him, and wants nothing to do with him... what do you think the chances are Motley Crue would ever hire this goof?

I think the poll would be more even handed if the Bach choice was with SR

Re: Would you rather see Motley Crue with Vince Neil or Sebastian Bach?
I think I've seen Bach solo a half-dozen times over the years in various settings -- 3 headline shows, 2 opening larger gigs (GNR, Poison) and even once at a European festival.
The 2 shows I saw this year were both excellent. That's not to say he has the same range he did 30-35 years ago or is as good today as he was in his prime, but he's certainly holding up better than his peers. Only other guy on his level that I could think of from that time frame who had actual range in the first place and still sounds good today is Geoff Tate.
There was a noticeable difference in his vibe this year, though. Maybe it's because he's bandmates with his son now, but believe it or not, he was likable. Came across funny and humble and appreciative of the fact that he's still able to do this after all of these years. Perhaps I caught him on two good nights and he's a raging prick the rest of the time, and perhaps he's always one drink away from falling off the wagon and turning into Mr. Hyde, but I was shocked at how mellow and happy-go-lucky he was considering his loose cannon reputation. Hopefully he can stay off of social media moving forward.
To answer the OP's question, I'd rather see Motley with anyone but VN.

Neither. If you're gonna swap out VInce, give it to a guy in his 20s who will absolutly slay it. And look like SATD era vince.
There's hundereds of youngsters who would kill it in the role. Why replace 1 aged embarassing fat fuck with a "name" for another of the same?

Vince.
Let Bach open the show doing his Skid Row tunes and talking bullshit about America.

Neither, really, because it isn't really Motley without Mick Mars, and Bach's a prima donna @sshole who I have no desire to see outside of SR, but if I had to choose, I'd take Motley for the theatrics, I guess.

Re: Would you rather see Motley Crue with Vince Neil or Sebastian Bach?
I don't want to see Bach singing Motley stuff. And I'm one of the Bach apologists around here.
Honestly, I don't want to see anyone singing Motley besides Vince, and that includes John Corabi. Like him or hate him, Vince has a unique voice, and it just doesn't sound right with someone else. It's like when Ratt got Jizzy to sing for a while, it was decent, but no one is Pearcy.
The only person out there that isn't from a tribute band that I could see maybe stepping into that role is Ralph Saenz, maybe he could finally play the Skinny Vince portion of the "Fat David Lee Roth, Skinny Vince Neil" joke he does.

I can't think of too many bands that are as devoid of integrity as Motley Crue is.

They have a long history of lying to their fans. They even said that they'd never be Motley Crue without all four original members. This was before Vince was fired.CrankerBait wrote: ↑Thu Nov 21, 2024 11:40 amI can't think of too many bands that are as devoid of integrity as Motley Crue is.

Oh, wait a sec.

I'm going to be generous and say Motley Crue hasn't been worth seeing live since 2010.

I saw Bach this year as well and agree. The show I saw was exactly that. I have zero interest in seeing Motley live again.Hair I Go Again wrote: ↑Thu Nov 21, 2024 9:57 am I think I've seen Bach solo a half-dozen times over the years in various settings -- 3 headline shows, 2 opening larger gigs (GNR, Poison) and even once at a European festival.

I chose Vince.
But without Mick I’d not be interested.

Re: Would you rather see Motley Crue with Vince Neil or Sebastian Bach?
Sixx should just get Sam Maloney, Corabi, and John 5 and go out. That would be more interesting than the Crue is today.
Re: Would you rather see Motley Crue with Vince Neil or Sebastian Bach?
Why not see them with the singer of their band? What' next, "would you rather see AC/DC with Brian or Axl?"

I reckon your son would have enjoyed them more with Bach singing instead of Vince!

I saw Motley 15 times between 1989 and 2015. And it was diminishing returns each time.
I picked Bach just for the novelty.

Better options.
Bas reunites with Afuso, Snake and Scotti and they all tell Rachel to go fuck himself. They hire a new bass player that isn’t a dick.
Vince retires but not before he cuts a final single. A collab with Ozzy and Jelly Roll.
Nikki goes back to Sixx Am. John -5 goes back to Rob.
Tommy jumps off a cliff.

With Mick gone, I’d rather see Vince at the casino with $20 groupon tickets. Get to hear the songs in a smaller venue, no parking issues, and I don’t have to watch Nikki pretend to play bass.

I'd rather see Nikki Shitz acknowledge Crabby's existence in the band and invite him out for one show to play a few '94 songs.
