I believe they exchanged a couple of texts, but that's about it.

So yeah. Maybe a few texts. Sam said that originally. Then it changed to video calls. Then it changed to Ed telling him he wanted to write songs with him. Then after he died he was visiting him in a dream and writing a song with him.

Sammy originally said they never talked music, then later on it changed to writing songs.

The guy is a pathological liar.

I'm just waiting for the day where Sam starts saying that Ed's final words were him telling Sammy that "Eagles Fly" was the best song ever written, and real reason their relationship was strained because Ed was jealous that he didn't write it.

Say what you want about WVH, he has shown himself to be more than capable of publicly calling out bullshit. I really doubt he’d abide Sammy lying about his dad like that, much less be cordial when they’ve run into each other in recent years.

Hagar is full of shit 99% of the time, but there is no way Wolfgang would let a bullshit story about his beloved “Pops” fly without shutting it down. In this instance I think Hagar is telling the truth

Al has completely froze Sammy out of mentions in his book. Plus, shut down any tribute show advances. Agreed, there may have been a text or two from both parties, but making up is all fluff.

I think making the assumption that Wolf ended up with Ed’s phone, and that he went through it to see if Ed had been texting with Sam, is a serious reach.

Just as likely his wife (or Val) ended up with it, and threw it in the trash because his camera roll was just porn clips he’d downloaded.

I don't think Sammy is making stuff up. I think he actually believes all the crazy shit he says

His silence would also mean that the supposed contact between Sam and Ed was minimal.

Obviously unless Wolfie and/or Al had no knowledge of this happenning as Sammy hasnt specified when this happened. Sam also conveniently didnt go public with this till after Edwards death That is Sammy PR 101, do something that nobody can prove wrong.
