The cops used a taser. Even when the suspect pulled a gun. And he was not shot?? Why.. ? Black men have been gunned down for just running from the police.

Because he had it pulled and ready to go. Had he had his revolver out (and the suspect clearly did reach for a gun), he would have just shot him.
