They are talking shit again about me because Julian is a buddy with a couple of Gooch's "enemies". Necramonium (another fan content creator) decided to be a total asshole after I helped him with an Ozzy video a while back. I think he got butthurt/jealous because I did the Three Side of the Coin podcast and decided to ban me from his FB group and posted a bunch of bullshit/lies about me there like a little bitch. Would love for someone to post something on my behalf over there.

Might be a suicide mission or Julian might just delete it like he usually does, but I did respond this nonsense in my own FB group with the KISS shit...There is a thread about Vancouver '79 footage where someone repeated the dumb shit Necra posted on his FB page after kicking me out of his group (and NO ONE else denied my posts in other KISS FB groups unlike what is posted at the FAQ).

it would be sweet if this response I have in my own FB group could make its way over there on that thread. Just sayin'. I know, High School bullshit but it sucks not being able to answer crap posted about you. Julian is an ass too for the same reason and was such a baby because there were 2 threads about my remixes on the main page (posted by others) that he deleted one and buried the other one.

I did want to address some recent allegations posted about me and my KISS work by another content creator. He and I have had contact for a couple years now and have discussed content creation many times. We’ve also discussed certain content that is sometimes controversial and involves things involving ownership and things that get blocked on YouTube.

I have been honest with him about the fact that I will ask the person responsible for those claims and blocks and don’t waste time on projects that will be disputed regardless of the validity of the claims. I do this because I am a lifelong fan and want to share this work with other KISS fans. I sell nothing and I make nothing from the literal hundreds and hundreds of hours I spend on it.

For whatever reason he has decided to ban me from his FB group and is now accusing me of being a “snitch” when he has a very long history with a certain person in the KISS community that has nothing to do with me.

Anyone can subscribe to a YT channel and will be notified whenever a new video is posted, no snitching required. The same goes for a certain popular message board where anyone (even someone who is banned like I am for disagreeing with the admin) can read the boards for themselves, no snitching required.

This person even asked me to help with the audio for a show he recently posted and I gladly cleaned it up for him as a favor. He even used my name in the title to obviously attract some of the people who watch my stuff (which is fine).

It’s unfortunate that a lot of petty jealously exists in fan content creation circles. You have to understand this sometimes leads to lies and other things being spread around especially when someone gets a little “too much” attention. It’s just the way it is.

I do my best to play by the rules and work on projects that I know are “fair game” with KISS or whoever owns the stuff. YouTube checks all videos for copyright automatically and will allow most things to be posted but you can’t monetize the content which is fine. Some creators choose to do whatever they feel like and then get angry when it is taken down or blocked regardless of who is “right or wrong”. I try my best to avoid this kind of thing.
Contrary to claims of me having “special treatment”, I have had Cobo ‘75, Paul Lynde (cleanest copy), Lakeland ‘79 (my sync), Cadillac (my sync), Max Kinkel interview, Cobo ‘76, Savannah (my 2-cam edit and sync) and all of the other usual “forbidden” content either taken down (or was asked to take it down to avoid a strike). Other content creators know by now which shows will or will not be blocked and there is nothing on my channel that cannot be found on other YT channels aside from a couple snippets here or there that I asked permission to use.

Many people know me personally due to my decades-long involvement in the music community and I know my reputation speaks for itself, but it is not cool to see someone trying to crap on your name or your work without being able to respond.

I would hope that people who understand this and enjoy and understand the work I do will also “spread the (true) word” in order to combat the rumors and allegations that this content creator has told people on his FB group to “spread” around.

I would like to help, but I cant in good conscience allow myself to get involved directly in Kisstardation.

It would make me think less of myself as a human, and taken to the logical extreme, I may one day kill myself rather than be kicked out of my basement full of Kiss toys once "Xanadu is breached".

You're doing cool "work", improving those tracks. Just have fun, and dont worry about not being a part of a club that wouldnt have you as a member.

Thanks, but like I said I don’t like people talking shit and convincing other people in that “community” that I am up to something without responding. I just quickly made a new account and posted a response. Then when Julian deleted it and used his favorite word “apologist” I told him he is full of shit. Two posts and BANNED a record for me.

I still have an account there but haven't used it for about a year.

There are some good posters there (Glasgow KISS, BC Witch).

But I like KISS and I want to keep it that way. And the vibe there is weird. KISS sing about partying, but quite a few people who post there seem miserable and angry.

Good post^^^^^but I am likely banned for life for not believing in Santa Claus anymore. That place has been lame for ages. Seems like the average fan there got into KISS around 1988, haha. there are a few great posters/fans there and unfortunately it's still arguably the best place to let them know about remixes, etc, but if you disagree with Julian or one of his butt buddies it's NO SOUP FOR YOU! "apologist" is his "gymnasium". For a guy who "writes books" (or should I say compiles old interviews) he's got a rather limited vocabulary.
