I went to see Roger Waters do the WALL tour years ago the first time he did it solo. All prepared to enjoy the show and there were these 3 or 4 frat boys right behind us that insisted on yelling the lyrics to every damn song louder than the whole band. Drunk fucking idiots. I always expect the retards to scream like 12-year-olds when he says “balls” in “Mother” but these jaggoffs were non-stop even in the mellow shit. I never wanted to punch someone in throat so hard in my life. I guarantee Roger would have spat right in these idiots faces himself. Just the kind of morons that inspired the whole damn thing in the first place. Irony?

I don't know if it's because of the earplug I wear at all shows (eargasm, highly recommended, well worth $50) or the fact that I'm deaf in my right ear or both but I hardly hear the crowd at all, let alone the screechers and screamers. I was at a comedy show in a mid sized theater a couple years ago with my girlfriend and the crowd was a bit louder than usual so I had my earplug in. Apparently a woman in the row behind us was repeating all the punchlines word for word. It was driving my girlfriend crazy but I didn't hear her at all.

Probably also “that’s so true!”. I took a good friend of mine to John Mulaney a few months ago, and she kept saying that throughout the entire show. And talking to the person next to her saying it’s so true.

Doesn't bother me at a live show.
