Agreed. They have some good songs here and there after that, but those first two were excellent.Wild Obsession wrote: ↑Fri Dec 13, 2024 8:19 am 1st 2 albums are absolute classics, however, IMO, nothing released since they got back together has come close.......
I concur. First two albums seemed fresh and fun and they stood out from the pack. Stuff after has been a bit generic. Not bad, but not worth revisiting that oftenJizzySynatra wrote: ↑Fri Dec 13, 2024 3:05 pmAgreed. The first two are complete classics to me seeing I was in high school and that was finally "my band" (who broke up shortly after). I do think Hot Cakes and Last of Our Kind rip.... after that it gets spotty for me. At this point in their careers, if they get 3-5 good/great songs per album then I'm content. Think of it... 20 years in. That's equal to the Stones putting out an album in '83/'84, Aerosmith in '93, G'n'R's ChiDem. What can go wrong!pieceofme wrote: ↑Sat Dec 14, 2024 2:17 pmI concur.
