I've been a Poppy fan for a few years, the new album "Negative Space" is great stuff.

I like this one. Not as much as I disagree but it was still good. Hope she keeps up the heavy stuff. If you haven't seen it, her singing with Spiritbox was pretty badass..

That shit makes Limp Bizkit sound like Mahavishnu Orchestra

There's a few okay things on the record but it's not even close to "I Disagree." I loved "I Disagree." The thing that made her unique is how musically it was all over the place. Her new record is basically just a straight ahead new sounding metal record. There's nothing that stands out or is any different than 100 other bands. Her music obviously changed when she left Titanic Sinclair who co-wrote a lot of her older stuff, but I get why she did since he was abusive. I appreciate that she keeps wanting to change her sound too, so I'll always check her out and see what's she's doing.

Negative Spaces, like everything she has put out post I Disagree is just average to me. I get her not wanting to copy the sound of her former bf/co-writer but she has lost what had made her so unique to begin with.
Though she still has a blend of her pop self, she leans too heavily on sounding like most metalcore/post hardcore bands which are a dime a dozen.

"Negative Spaces" might be my favorite album of hers so far. It's a perfect combination of catchy/heavy.
