Completely different spelling from Neil "SPYDER" Giraldo. He'd be disappointed to have you compare him to those "Y"-less hacks. And I actually prefer Holly Knight in Device:

here's something else that I wasn't aware of until years later- the main riff in Alice Cooper's "Poison" was brought in by John McCurry, who worked with Waite on the stellar "Rover's Return" album.
