Here in NJ, theres only one club that still does this, very famous one, because the promoter has always done it this way and is a d*ck.

You basically get tickets to sell for the gig. Band keeps a portion of ticket sales. If u dont sell a minimum of tickets, you dont play. If you sell just the minumum, your set time will probably change.

The DB here in NJ preys on new/young groups, who dont know better
