Which band is better?

Both legendary and supremely worthy hard rock acts, but I loved Aerosmith first, and Roth at his showman best, as great as he is, still can’t touch Tyler on his worst day. Aero for me.

Van Halen changed rock music. Aerosmith? They were merely awesome.

Also hugely influential, obviously. But in terms of rock guitar, there was before EVH and after EVH.

VH and it's not even close for me. One of my all time favorite bands vs a band that has a couple of good albums.
