Add Twisted's Leader of the Pack and you have the top 3 of misguided mid 80s hair metal cover tunes.

"Your Mama..." should be at #1 though as it was covered twice in a few years, and Y&T's version is even worse than Poisons.
Not that ANY band could save that song, it would suck even with 1978 Van Halen.

YMDD was a hit too for Poison. I think Mötley had so much momentum when Smokin' came out that any new song would have been a hit. I haven't met one Mötley fan who said it was one of his favorite songs. But I guess Smokin' as a first single, followed up by the ballad HSH and opening the album with City Boy Blues was them trying to reposition the band from the previous album's "satanic heavy metal" to something more accessible. The rest of the album wasn't that different....

"#1 Bad Boy" is saved by the riff.

My vote is for "Cry Tough". Bland and cliched. The choice for that as the first single almost tanked the album.

Talk Dirty To Me. Pure garbage as is most of their music.

Third place for me, after "Life Goes On" and "Your Mama Don't Dance" (even the original is boomer garbage), I'm going to vote "(Flesh & Blood) Sacrifice" for two reasons:

1. The parenthetical at the BEGINNING of the title? Ooh, look at the art rockers. Mom, I don't have my glasses on, is this PERE UBU??

2. I'm fairly sure that right before the chorus, the part that goes "Tonight's the night we give it up" was jacked from Warrant's "Ridin' High" ("Livin' just to live it up!"). Now how you gonna steal from WARRANT.
