No they don't. At least not in the US. RIAA has the debut at Gold, certified in 1991. Even if we count sold and not certified, I doubt it sold another 500k after that.

I watch this channel fairly often and remember seeing this a year or so ago.

I’m playing the guitar parts to “I Believe In A Thing Called Love” and “Turn It Again” side by side in my head right now and sort of snickering to myself over what bro considers interesting guitar playing, but, different strokes…

IMO the Chili Peppers are pretty good for what they offer the listener. They are pretty consistent. The Darkness? not so much.

Flea, Frusciante and Smith and better and more talented at what they do than their counterparts in Darkness.

When it comes to vocals the Darkness singer just fucking yodels with a high pitched voice. If we're being honest, he isn't any better than the flat delivery with zero range of Kiedis, it's probably worse! I feel like at least Kiedis is aware of his limitations as a vocalist where Hawkins simply isn't. He seems to think he's Freddie fucking Mercury or something equally outrageous.

The RHCP suck and are so overrated.

I don't hate RHCP, because there's nothing to hate. Or love. They're a very meh band, to me. Kiedis's lyrics are just nonsensical bullshit sung in monotone, but I do think Frusciante's Hendrix style chord rhythm is pretty awesome. That shit can be pretty tough to nail down. They're one of my best friend's favorite bands, so I've heard them a billion times at length and they've never done a thing for me.
