The year is 1992. You crack open a Crystal Pepsi and a bag of Pizzaria chips.

Turn on MTV and what do we have here? The new Vince Neil solo song, from Encino Man.

Weasing the ju-uice, buuuuuuuddy.

Didn't the Motley boys say he was lazy and only interested in racing cars? We all know how much he loves to DRIVE.

Well, this sounds a lot like a new Motley song. This will have to tide us over until they come out with their keyboard-heavy Physical Graffiti, which should be out any day now.

Great song, but it was no "Poison Apples" or "Hooligan's Holiday" with Johnny Corabi.

Dug this song but in retrospect would have been better off on a Billy Idol or Jerusalem Slim album

Was a pretty lame introduction to the album coming. Fortunately, it did contain some truly great songs, like "Look In Her Eyes," "The Edge," and "Living Is a Luxury." All three would have been great on a second Steve Stevens AP album.

Best thing about that song is that it inspired the infamous "You're invited but you weigh a ton" quote from Mick Mars after Vince's Jet Ski accident.

I liked it and it still holds up today, as does the record. Vince was flying the glam metal flag while Nikki, Tomtard and Old Man Dustin Bones tried to sell their souls to Seattle. The trouble was, Seattle and Gen X weren’t buying.

Mirror, Mirror on the wall, is Nikki Sixx the biggest whore of them all?

Despite the written credits  , didn't Jack Blades and Tommy Shaw write most of the songs on that album?

Don't think so. Steve Stevens was called in when the sessions with Adrian Vandenberg was failing and both him and Phil Soussan brought in songs that they had written. Probably more or less complete songs as Vince's credits in Mötley were AFAIK for changing / adding a few lines in Nikki's lyrics and I doubt he did much more on Exposed.

It's the most Motley Crue-sounding thing that's been released by any entity, including MC, since the original split.

The single version with Tommy Shaw and Blades is way better than the Exposed version - that should have been the band that wrote and recorded the whole album. Not sure if it was a management or availability decision that led them to bring in Soussan and Stevens, but it resulted in a shitty album.

I actually like the single version better that is on the Encino Man soundtrack. It's not much different but it's a bit more raw. I'm pretty sure that has Shaw and Blades on it.

Besides that, the 3 songs you mentioned are my favorites too and really showed what they were capable of.

All the unnecessary sound effects throughout this album was a bad choice. Otherwise, it was a fun and pretty good overall.

Fun song
but Dave Marshall is only known for this. Sad.
He is a good guitar player and am not sure how he never landed with another band or two.

Also, an old friend of mine back in 92' told me that Dave was only added to Vince's band because he looked pretty vs. needing a second guitar player.
No idea if this is true or not or my friend was onto something. :|
