Exactly. The rumour was that he got actress Victoria Medlin (Vanishing Point, etc) pregnant and later she committed suicide. She has a name check on Paul's 1978 solo album.

Somewhere along the way this got distorted to Medlin being Paul's sister but that's not correct. I recall someone at Kissfaq saying he knew her from school and she had some connection to Paul’s family but they were not related and Paul didn't get her pregnant.

Yes, it is wrong. The supposed baby with Victoria Medlin was Ericka Shulman who Paul introduced as his niece in the 80s.

But if you heard someone say "You know, Paul’s niece really is his daughter" then it sounds like he fucked his sister. But what it meant was that Ericka was his child with Medlin, not with his sister.
