Pete Evick, Bret Micheal's guitarist for 21 years. Between everything under Bret's bandanna to all of the bands they've shared a dressing room with, think of the secrets this man keeps.

Oz Fox. Other than his wife, Oz has stayed off of the radar for the most part. Think of the secrets he has on the rest of the band.

If only there was a top notch journalist to handle the job.

If there was one person who’s “tell all” i could read , it would be Doc McGee . The dirt that guy managed to sweep under the rug , would be an amazing read.

Some of the producers who worked with the classic bands and some obscure Sludge favorites.
Ron Nevison, Eddie Kramer, Bob Rock, Bob Ezrin, this kind of guys.
There are also bands with long careers where not much is written about what went on behind the scenes: AC/DC, Saxon, Maiden... a guy like Dave Murray must have seen and heard a lot.

Ian Hill. Dude just stands there under the radar, yet, sees & hears it all.

I thought this thread was dedicated to Sludge’s best journalist.
If we’re being real I would like a Michael Anthony book.

You gotta be fucking shitting me. An equally boring person named Adrian smith actually did write a book, that I believe was as much about fly fishing as it was about Maiden. Not one person has ever quoted from it, leading me to believe it made Ellefson’s book look riveting in comparison.
If Adrian wrote a boring ass book with no dirt in it, what makes you think Murray would do it differently?

Doc McGee does have all of the secrets, but he had his hand in it all and his own secrets as well. I'm thinking low keys guys who had access to all of the good stuff, yet would never blab. However, damn would Doc's book be fantastic.

Reviews say nothing scandalous and it's $50! Mattley, buy this and report back. You make $50 just taking a piss.

This is true. Bruce Dickinson also chose to leave out most post-Samson dirt in his book. That's just how that band operates since the reunion or earlier.
But they COULD if they wanted to. Maiden were a hard partying band most of the 80s. The fishing, golf and tennis came later.

What bands in the 80's were NOT hard partying? My point being, nothing unique about Maiden or their escapades.
