I really have a hard time believing the stories as posted.

They are incredibly detailed accounts of things that happened, in most cases, 40 or more years ago. I mean, who really remembers an exact conversation in that manner like in the account above. And all of his accounts are like that.

Just hard to believe from a guy that's clearly getting catfished.

Eddie was looking him right in the eye when he asked in a perfectly calm voice, “is that a fact?” while simultaneously flicking open a Bic and lighting his cigarette. He took a deep satisfying draw. His expression never changed, and he never shifted his gaze from the minion’s condescending stare when he said, “sorry, I was not aware.”
...and then he got tongue, throat and ultimately lung cancer and died.
