😂 Shame this message board is like a cassete tape and so limited. How hard would it be to update this format so we can like/dislike comments?

Well, considering the CEO probably has in 8 track in his Camaro...I should not expect anything more... or less.
I have to re-log in every time I revisit.
And after every post there’s a 15 second lag to get back to main board.
Oh well, part of the charm I guess

A classic. Production is kind of strange, but it works and Sykes kills on this one.

I came back today to re-read this review for a third time. I'm still not swayed. Very good should be the starting point and the record gets better from there. I have to fly from L.A. to the east coast next week so I may read your review again during the flight but I doubt I'll change my mind.

As mentioned this one is a classic - a candidate for top 10 of the genre - and I was a little surprised the ratings were not higher. Going back and revisiting, though, I would say very good.

It is not like Hysteria or Appetite where any song could have been a single, but there is also not a single song that I would skip (before getting overplayed, at least). If you were a long time Whitesnake fan and knew half the singles were recycled, I could see that being disappointing.

And why only 9 tracks in the US on initial release? You're Gonna Break My Heart Again is a solid track and was included outside the US. Looking for Love was decent as well. Maybe they thought it needed to be heavier for the US audience so they left off a couple love songs?

Yeah even throwaway cuts like Bad Boys have enough going on that you can ride em thru. This is a guitar head's album and Sykes delivers on every track.

It's absolutely idiotic to contend Zep weren't A-listers in the 1970s.
