The Darkness "Rock and Roll Party Cowboy" - New Song
New song from The Darkness that sounds like it's probably describing a few people on this board:

Not bad at all. Nice somewhat heavy rocking number, though Justin's vocals aren't as over-the-top Freddie Mercury-ish as we're used to from him (until near the end).

Sorry if already posted. The third pre-release did nothing for me

Not to sound like get-off-my-lawn gatekeeper guy, but I don't like it when they give haters more ammo to call them a joke band.
Or fuck it, maybe I've been wrong for 20 years.

Should have covered Tool “prison sex” that’s The Darkness 2025 audience now
Jani Lane and Bret Michaels should form a band called "Nelson II"

I get it, but I don't think it's that black or white. They've always had humorous lyrics and songs on every album. But they're not Steel Panther either. "I Wish I Was In Heaven" off Pinewood Smile isn't a joke song at all, but then a few songs later they have "Stampede Of Love." If people can't understand that it's possible to have both, then fuck 'em.Hair I Go Again wrote: ↑Fri Jan 24, 2025 11:06 am Not to sound like get-off-my-lawn gatekeeper guy, but I don't like it when they give haters more ammo to call them a joke band.

Big Darkness fan and I think they typically have a handful of kickass songs on each of the later albums, but this one ain't it.
