Your Favorite RATT lineup post-Originals

After the OG band fell apart in the early 90’s, many incarnations of the band resumed the music. Which lineup through the years was your favorite?

No clue this existed and you are right, Mason sounds amazing! Thanks for posting!FreddyFender wrote: ↑Wed Feb 05, 2025 4:45 pm The Ratt with Jizzy/Corabi was pretty badass.
I'd vote for the lineup that never was - with Robert Mason. This is just an audition/demo, but I've listened to it countless times.... absolutely crushes the original, Warren is on fire: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GvKq88uPFOY

This is the lineup my band opened up for.
This is my answer. They were smoking for Infestation, and then it all fell apart again. Saw them open for Scorpions in Alpharetta, on a last minute decision. Was literally on the phone with the Stubhub rep while I was driving down I-20 to get to the show because there was some sort of snafu, but they got it sorted on the way.ParaDime77 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 05, 2025 6:46 pm 2012 M3 Festival - I believe this lineup was put in place with Juan back in the fold a mere weeks prior to this performance. Remember it being a big deal around here. Unpopular opinion, Bobby’s drumming style was such a big part of this band. Plus, with Warren on stage, you don’t pay so much to Stephen’s limitations.

Same here. I wouldn't take it over sober Pearcy, but man, his voice fits RATT way better than Warrant. I've never thought he was a great Jani replacement, I thought they were better off with Jamie St. James. No disrespect intended to Robert, I think he's done a solid job, but his voice is different enough that they just really seem like a cover band with him up front.BulletProofPoet wrote: ↑Wed Feb 05, 2025 5:02 pmNo clue this existed and you are right, Mason sounds amazing! Yeah - I love Mason from Lynch Mob and Warrant, but I've never bothered to go see them with Mason.Anthrax442 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 06, 2025 8:21 am Same here. I'm not picky about scab members either, but the pairing doesn't do anything for me. Mason's voice is all power, Jani had a delicate-sounding voice he could really push and surprise you.
But also..... Jani is kind of irreplaceable, even if you like guy whos filling in.
