Difference was young Leif was attracting hot pussy while Danny B was literally the red headed stepchild. Danny had something of a comeback later on, which Leif never did of course.john3232 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 05, 2025 8:37 pm I read a book about Garrett and also remember seeing him when I was growing in this flick:

Garrett was considered a talented child actor and music was something his management pushed him into. The PR went into overdrive and Garret was suddenly in all the teen magazines. The music took off and he was an overnight pop star. Then just as fast his music career flamed out and he went back to acting fulltime. But by this time Garrett had developed a drug problem and it was all downhill from there. The screaming girls, the adoration, money and everyone kissing his ass. And then...just like that it's over. Did a number on the kid who was 17 when it started.
Reminded me of Danny Bonaduce who as a child actor went from being on top of the world (staring in Partridge Family) to suddenly unemployable. Not surprising he also fell apart.
Bonaduce writes in his book about the women throwing themselves at Cassidy and the time he got one of the girls himself. Can't recall if said he banged her (Bonaduce was 11 when the show first aired) but he was very happy.Michael Hotts Ghost wrote: ↑Sat Feb 08, 2025 3:35 amDifference was young Leif was attracting hot pussy while Danny B was literally the red headed stepchild.
