Maybe one of harshest reminders I'm old. I stone cold idolized him as the most dangerous & cool front man at the time to now being the biggest Dweeb. I can not reconcile the Live at the Ritz Guy to the Corn Rolls Guy to that Ridiculous Fedora wearing goof he is now.

Be happy you didn't worship early Motley and have to deal with that shit-show the last 20 years.

make me happy for him. I would have bet a lot of money he would not be out there touring, happy, fairly healthy showing up on time, running 3 hour shows at this age. He seems genuinely happy now. Got nothing but respect for him....and whatever medicine he finally found to turn his life around.
Plus he sang for AC/DC and killed it.

Agreed! He seems to have finally quieted the demons. Man, back in the day he was BANANA BREAD. I think we forget how fucking nuts Axl was back in the day.

Driving back from GNR Skidrow tour summer 1991- I wanted that feeling everyday forever. I got that. Getting older is fun. Life is fun everyday like that tour stop
Got to live GNR life and seeing Axl play in theatre -arenas-stadiums - in my dream city’s Vegas LA San Diego for decades

Never saw singer for Nirvana ever

It reminds me that HE'S old... but yeah, it's weird that all of our 80's rock guys are pushing 60 or even 70.

It blows my mind how GNR became legends and they only have a handful of albums. I saw them live a few years ago and was very disappointed. He at least looks relatively normal now but he sounded terrible and the band just had no vibe at all.

I'm not as cool as I was at 23, either. So what?

He was a real cunt when he was in the prime of his career. To his credit, he seems a lot happier, a lot more pleasant, and a lot less late than he used to be.

Now he can do a duet with Paul McCartney next year.

So basically he’s a happy cunt now?

Vince Neil turned 64 today! It's not too late for them to fight.

This as well. HAPPY BIRTHDAY AX!

Did his house end up surviving the fires? I hope so. That is such a beautiful place!

I saw them in 88 opening for Iron Maiden and they were terrible then too
