Why was he replaced?

Not entirely sure. The band fired him because he wasn't up to par, but I don't remember him sucking, and they ended up getting a guy for leads in the in the studio anyways.

My theory was always that it was because he looked like a mini Bon Jovi and would have soaked up all of the attention from frog-boy.

To clarify, what got me called a homophobe repeatedly is referring to the story Rob told about how he tried to "seduce" (his words) Paul DiAnno with alcohol but then got too drunk to take advantage of him.

Suggesting that it's pretty messed (aka a form of rape) up to try and get a straight man drunk enough to participate in homosexual activities makes me a homophobe, apparently. Anyway...
