For all you new wave-loving Sludgers (surely we have some here), take a trip back to 1983 and listen to these five (mostly) one-hit-wonders and pick your favorite! Just a fun little poll that I decided to come up with, and besides, they're all pretty dang classic, IMO...

I like Kevin Rowland/DMR the best overall but yea, Too Shy is the winner.

List of songs that I absolutely hated as a young metal head, but what a great list of tunes that is now. Love em all.
Come on Eileen should be the winner, but I'm going with Men without Hats. Only because I saw them a few months ago, and they were surprisingly excellent live. Singer in his 70's ran around like a teenager.

My vote and saw MWOH too. Made me listen to a lot of their tunes that weren't MTV-bound. It's a lot of well-crafted, fun synth-pop. Ivan (singer) is absolutely young at heart and pulls off his "look" really well. Super-nice dude, too. Of course he is; he's Canadian.
