I've met him several times in Vegas, and the online persona matches the real person. Definitely one of the most fun dudes to hang out with.

A few years ago, I was in CA, and I saw that ‘the band that shall not be named’ was playing at the Canyon Club. When in LA…..go to the show.

A couple hundred people there max…..but there was a guy that fascinated me. Wearing Boss glasses and taking selfies and selfie videos with the band in the background. No shame at all.

I wanted to find out who the guy was to see these epic videos. But the show ended and I left….but I saw him enthusiastically talking to the singer of Funhouse as I was leaving. Clearly a huge fan of the era.

Long story short, I see the singer of the no name band updated his FB profile pic and it is him With the guy!! I read the comments and realize it is LAG from this board.

Found the IG page and I love the photos and updates. Guy is loving life and makes no apologies for it.

Even after having met him multiple times, I don't know (or care). When the first question to somebody is "what do you do for a living?", it's like LinkedIn or a work event. Zzzzzzz...

Work just isn't a fun topic. Never chatted about it with the dude, and why would we? Now if you ask somebody their favorite C or D-level hairband, that's better!

It's just a good time hanging out. It's fine learning how Poison grew up and where they came from on BTM, but I just want to enjoy the songs without the history.

He has means to have fun, whether he's loaded or going out on top once it's all gone... and for that, he will remain an enigma.

He'll be in Vegas a few times this year, especially once they announce the Downtown Rocks - Free Concert Series at Fremont Street.

Since you're still the #1 salesman in your district, tell your GM that Mazda Mattley is going to Vegas to celebrate this summer/fall!

If there's something of interest this year, maybe we could plan an informal get-together. Not quite Sludgin' In Vegas like the classic Sludge era, but it could be fun.

It could be anywhere, but like LAglamrocker said, no reason to ever leave the Southern California / San Diego / Vegas circle, so Ohio, North Dakota, and other boring states are out of luck.
