At 10 or so minutes in he mentions a guitar player named Philip Davidsohn, and mentions him getting a really bad acid trip and then disappearing.

Slash mentioned him once in an interview as the inspiration for his band named "Tidus Sloan".

He said Philip was a total stoner and just said that one time and had no idea why he said it but it sounded cool and used it for his band.

For funsies I tracked him down once and he has a depressing YouTube page where he is maybe the most fried person I've ever seen:
