Authorities now saying Gene Hackman's pace-maker was still "active" 10 days ago, on Feb. 17th...

But... his much younger wife (30+ years) was already mummified when their bodies were found.... which, according to Google, that would take several weeks, to a month or more for that to set in!

She either dropped dead, and he was so F'ing old, he walked right past her for weeks until he dropped dead...

Or...

He off'd her ass... knowing he was going to buy the farm soon, and didn't want to leave her with all his doe!

What do you think?

He was 95. This guy doesn't have the strength to kill anybody. The most he could do is maybe throw a Werther's Original at her.

He looks like he's about to burst into dust at any moment.

The nose hairs on him must have been like roots at the bottom of an oak tree.

I hope to not live much past 80... I can't imagine there is a lot of fun when you are pushing 100!

This is a weird case. Interested in details as they come out.

I’m with Stevie. 80-82 is a good life if you don’t have a major health issue. My mom is 85. Most everyone she knew is gone including my dad. She wouldn’t mind never waking up. She’s lonely. It sucks watching.

I believe not being fat is one of the major keys to a long life with a good quality of life. I know a couple of elderly people in their 90s. Both are skinny and get out and walk every day.

In addition to not being a worthless tub of lard, being stress free is at least as important. A lot of skinny people can still have a heart attack and croak due to stress. Half the posters on the Trump threads in the Lounge are already going crazy from it for no reason at all.

She probably died of natural causes, and he was then in no condition to even realize she was dead. She was thirty years younger than he was, I can't imagine he would have had the strength to kill anyone.
