Politician is their best song but the harsh truth is that Blind Faith is better than Cream.

Crossroads, Sunshine of Your Love, and Born Under a Bad Sign (incredible Clapton solo).

It is absolutely their best song accord to me.
Disclaimer: I've only heard two cream songs.

Yes to both of OP’s choices, but I’ll also add “Strange Brew”.

I like both of those, but my favorites are Deserted Cities of the Heart, SWLABR, and As You Said. Jack Bruce was FAR superior to Eric Clapton, also on his solo albums.

Weird rock trivia, but Eric Clapton has ended up singing songs by future killers- twice.
Strange Brew was co-written by Gail Collins, who shot her husband, Cream producer/ Mountain bassist Felix Pappalardi.
Layla was co-written by Jim Gordon, who ended up Killing his own mom.
