The clueless show host mentions how some of the guys have been in the band for decades which I'm pretty sure is not true and congratulates them on being in the rock n roll hall Hall of Fame, I'm pretty sure there wasn't one inductee in this performance, and lastly commented on the monumental MTV unplugged performance that he remembered since he was a child that I'm pretty certain never happened.

Piss poor performances lacking any type of groove or appropriate arrangement for the TV studio, with Jeff Pilsen acting as the leader of the band apparently. It's just become so gross

Of course I am just speculating, but it looks like Jeff is still battling addiction. He is looking awful pasty lately. Dude, at least brush your hair.

I mentioned something like that about a year ago here. Jeff looks awfully skinny and gaunt. He does yoga/pilates like crazy and he had back and knee surgery in the last couple years. He's 66 so he's no spring chicken but he looks like he's aged 20 years in the last 5 and lost a lot of weight. I never thought about if he was doing blow again, always assumed no, but hope it isn't that, or that he isn't sick.

As for the OP mentioning the host saying some of the current lineup has been there for decades, Pilson and Hansen (and I think a couple others) have been with the band since 2004 so technically decades is true.

Regarding that performance...pretty flat and uninspired, although how much can they really do without Hansen and in a TV studio? They've done some really good acoustic stuff over the years but this is not one of them.

Did I miss something? Where's Kelly?

Kelly "retired" (or possibly fired???) This guy is presumably going to be the main singer with Lou coming on for encores...

Whoa! Thx, good to know. Kelly did a couple songs with a buddies band in a club last year and he killed, so I'm guessing he'll still get out there. Probably just sick of singing Head Games & Hot Blooded.

Had no idea Kelly was out. Was completely different from Lou, but he could carry a band. This is casino level, and I don't mean casino ballroom. I mean a little stage to the right of one of the drink stations, providing background music to the grannies playing penny-slots.
