Great show, even better theme song. For my money, this was THE best sitcom theme.

Yup. Used to watch a few of those Friday night ABC family shows. I've recently stumbled upon Bronson Pinchot's Instagram. Sometimes, he'll say something funny in his Balki or Serge (from BH Cop) voice.

Hilarious character. Bronson seems like a good dude. Seemed like a good character actor, but I don't know how much work he did after BHC.

Larry and Balkie Bartokomous the quirky mother fucker from god knows where, and his cousin Larry who is an uptight yank.

One of the best slapstick duos since Lucy and Ethel, they never got the respect they deserved.

Then by the end they brought in two girlfriends with big tits, as if those two rubes would ever end up with women like that. Amazed it ran for eight seasons until 1993, it was such an 80s show.

Larry was never seen again, Balkie played the unhinged businessman on the Stephen King Langoliers miniseries and did a bunch of little parts in nothing important.

What a fuckin great show.

Theme tune was epic as well.

Family Matters was a spinoff of this, the husband and wife were characters in this.

Larry was never seen again because he went off to be a successful stage actor.

Bronson was also one of Tom Cruise's friends in Risky Business along with the dude who played Booger in Revenge of the Nerds. Many small character parts, but a "working actor."

He's great in True Romance trying to be a big-shot but is just a weak assistant in way over his head. Plays it to perfection.

Bosom Buddies needs a mention when discussing comedic duos. Hanks & Scolari were pure-gold together.

I'm 47 and I remember watching it as a kid, loved it!! I have had the thought that it would be funny if they brought it back BUT it's a dark tone because the cousins have turned into enemies so the theme song this time would be Deep Purple's (I do like Dream Theater's version too) "Perfect Strangers"

Bronson Pincot has really kept himself up and is quite the silver fox now.

You can stream this free on Prime. Has its own channel on their LiveTV platform.

Along with Baywatch, and another under-appreciated comedy "According to Jim," which is hysterically funny at times and has hotties (Courtney Thorne-Smith and Kimberly Williams-Paisley).
