Just want to mention how great this song is.

I thought it was amazing when I first heard it in 1989...still do. I'm upset they didn't play this one when I saw them in 1990. Our town got "Cover Queen" as the set opener, while the next city got "Lady Luck" as their set opener.

I think this song could have been a single...it's a tad better than "Hang Tough", which got the single/video treatment.

Question...this song has a bit of a weird structure, which I've only clued into recently. The song goes verse/chorus...but instead of going back into the next set of verses, we get a solo and then the "And I know it's true, I've got a bad attitude" lines, which to me could be a verse...but comes across more like a bridge, and then back into the outro chorus. The song isn't terribly long, so I wonder why they skip a proper second set of verses.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

And also, why the hell isn't The Great Radio Controversy on Spotify in Canada? I think the Americans get it.

Good song but I don't think it is single material.

Good song. The lyrics remind me of AC/DC's Shot Down In Flames.

I was just listening to this album yesterday! Still love this and the acoustic record. First album is pretty good too.

I really just haven't liked anything since then. A few songs off of the next couple records but nothing at all from the "reunion" years.

Pretty much this. That whole album is full of great songs that are better off as non-singles, and the ones that are singles are solid enough as such. Tesla got it just right with the single releases on …Controversy, IMO.

Yeah Lady Luck is the best song off the album, it's a great album. Lady luck is better than hang tough. Hang tough sounds like it should be in a rocky movie.

Great song….

However their best song to open a live concert should always be Cumin’ Atcha Live … such a killer guitar duel between Tommy and
Frank !!!!!

Pretty sure they opened with that tune in '88 when they opened for Def Leppard.
