It’s depressing as hell to watch. The best version of Lou was 32 years ago. This is just a charity run.

Poor Lou.... I think he'd much rather sing one of the rockers than that song. He can still pull off most of the Foreigner material (maybe not a few of the high notes).
You can tell he's not thrilled to be singing it.

Am I crazy, or did they just play a morning show with Pilson on bass and the shrimpy dude on vocals?
Now the shrimpy dude is on Bass and Kelly is on vocals?

First it was "One original member", then "No original members but at least consistent scabs", now it's "Rotating scabs and a senior citizen on death's door"?

It works for Ozzy.

Which Foreigner members were inducted into the RNRHOF?

I know! Wasn't Jason Bonham in the band too? God, even the scabs are leaving. I can't keep up.

Lou sounded OK in the verses at least but that was not a good look for him.

Trump ordered for all Foreigners to be evicted.

He’s on keyboards. He switches over for that song for some reason.

It’s just laughable what the concert industry has become. It’s either the show is lip-synced and backing tracks or it’s a 100% cover band, like Lynyrd Skynyrd, Molly Hatchet, April Wine, Foreigner and on and on. But people keep buying tickets for this trash. I get that it’s the only way to keep that stuff available for a live setting, but call it what it is. A tribute act. You go see an Elvis impersonator, it’s not being billed as the real Elvis Presley for hundreds of dollars a ticket. I have zero interest in seeing any of this horseshit anymore. I saw the last good runs of these classic bands 10-15 years ago. There’s a point where you gotta call it a day. Case in point Lou Gramm. That was just dreadful and cringey to watch.

It's absurd how these legacy bands are content to ditch their integrity while turning live concerts into a mockery just so they can make a few more bucks in the absolutely dying embers of their careers. The bar has been lowered so far that even when bands go out and play everything and kick ass doing it, who knows and who cares now?

There was a time when this stuff wasn't acceptable and any respected legitimate band wouldn't dream of doing this, now it's the norm. And don't think Mick Jones isn't cashing the checks.

There was a time when being a fan of something meant you wouldn't just accept any dog shit served up to you and then be thrilled about it to boot. Now people accept anything and then parrot the "Everyone had a good time" as if they speak for everyone.

I guess it's a sign of the times... money justifies anything... integrity is meaningless... you see it everywhere now, including in the political sphere. It's really not coincidental.

I think Lou sounds pretty good all things considered. He changes the vocal melodies and doesn’t sing it exactly like he recorded it but for the most part, he is doing the parts. He’s definitely not a Paul Stanley, Don Dokken, or David Coverdale, when it comes to crappy vocals late in the career. He’s still hitting notes.

He’s changing the vocal melodies because he can’t sing anymore. Plain and simple. He sounds godawful in that clip and several others I’ve seen. It’s a shame because he once had an amazing voice but this is just embarrassing

This is the reason I don't go to see the big names anymore.
I much rather go and see a younger cover band.

He had a brain tumor in 2000 I think. It required surgery that damaged his pituitary gland. It affected his voice, and caused him to get fat. He sounds better on other songs, but he shouldn't be doing this one.

Yikes. Still better than Frankie Valli, but poor Lou is not even a shell of his former self.

Bonham hasn’t been in Foreigner for seventeen years. 2007-2008.
LOL! Well at least you know I wasn't lying when I said "I can't keep up!"

I was actually surprised he sounds as good as he does here. That's not bad at all, and much better than half the clowns worshiped here that DIDN'T have life-threatening diseases.
