Metal Sludge Gossip Board

Had all the major 80s and then 90s bands up close and personal in a shopping center in west Springfield, Va. which was pretty cool. Small club where you could be a few feet away from the stage. What great shows did you see there, DC area sludgers? Was there a long time.

I grew up within walking distance of Jaxx, and used to do load in/out in exchange for getting in free. Just some of the bands I saw here. Pantera, Dio, Motorhead, Vince Neil, WASP, Joan Jett, Brides of Destruction, Stephen Pearcy, Ace Frehley, Overkill, Warrant, Cheap Trick, .38 Special, Sebatian Bach, Johnny Van Zant, Black Label Society, Lynch Mob, Steelheart, Anthrax, John Paul Jones, Mr Big, Dokken, Testament, Quiet Riot, Cinderella, Great White, UFO, Bulletboys, Yngwie Malmsteen, LA Guns, Doro, Saigon Kick, Kix, Slaughter, Jackyl, Gregg Allman, Bruce Dickinson, Stray Cats, Bad Company, Wrathchild America, and more...Needless to say, half of my youth was spent at this club.
