Was revisiting the lesser known Metallica of Edmonton who was forced to relinquish it's name and found this gem of an interview with bassist/vocalist and Sludge's own late BlairSurfInvasion. Still haven't found any music.

Didnt he die by running onto a gun range?! Death by voluntary firing squad is even more metal than being in (2nd) Metallica. I dont really remember chatting with this guy, but that's some legendary shit. Was he noticeably depressed beforehand?

I would tell people the story and they wouldn't believe it, made more difficult by the fact that I could never find anything to officially back it up.

I haven't thought about this in years and I was just reading a post on Reddit about it less than an hour ago. Crazy shit.

Hopefully 17 years later they would have come to grips with it. Or perhaps satisfied some sort of fantasy.
