I don’t know why they had such a hard-on for the lane ballads on NMT. Mama was good but this and Road to Nowhere were just shit. He used to do Nowhere live and it’s on Live and Loud which I never understood.
How? This was all over MTV back in the day.

I don't remember this video either.
Mama I'm Coming home is one of those songs that transcends. Road to Nowhere and Time After Time are corporate rock slop, may as well have been written by AI. When it gets to the bridge in Road to Nowhere, it's always a moment for me how uninspired and "fake" it sounds.

Yeah, this was Ozzy's "do no wrong" period on MTV, whipping out one power ballad after another. Kinda like Aerosmith.
Watching this now, he looks strangely youthful and healthy. I remember a metalhead friend of mine thought the midget stuff was funny. I guess if you were still weird and wacky enough, you kept some cred.

The difference is Ozzy's power ballads off NMT were good.
