One of the better tour blogs I have read it a while. Really goes into detail on putting a big show together, many of the nuances with the instruments and sound us non-technies may not be aware of and the stuff fans like us like to see such as how the setlist is put together. They came up with a show with that's 3 1/2 hours long and sounds like the hard part is trimming it down. They are admitting, as we have seen with Metallica, Aerosmith, Rolling Stones and the like that if they go on tour, the shows aren't going to be quite as long as they used to be. And Pete remembers Desert Trip as the last great Who show which is very validating. By then to me they had long moved out of the top tier into the mid level throng of classic rock acts in the sheds and fairs every summer but they sure seized the day delivering the best set of the weekend by far.

Kehew is an awesome person. Total nerd, but in the best way.

You should meet him (if you haven't), you'd probably get along! If I ever see him where you are I'll do the intro.

If you have any Nitro bootlegs, he will be your friend forever.
