KISS Army Storms Vegas first guest announcements

And Eric Singer must be fucking pissed to not be actually "in KISS" anymore and told them to go fuck themselves.

That's the most unspecial special guest list I could imagine.

Will Black N Blue be playing or sitting in the seats at a show?
How much are seats to sit next to Jaime St James

and what are ticket prices for this extravaganza?

Regardless of the love/hate feelings about Tommy and Eric and their business/employee relationships, my take:

Aside from Mark and Vinnie, who were in KISS for a minute, Bruce, Carr, and Singer were band members, and in longer than Ace and Pete. Yet, in the canon of KISS, they are almost considered outsiders rather than members responsible for getting the band to 50 years. I'm not getting into who wrote what or sang what. Ace and Pete's input was often rejected, so by ratio, the other guys may have had as much recorded output as A and P.

If KISS wanted to do it right, they would not add them as special guests but rather a reunion of current/past members (or something like that). G&P are too full of themselves to treat them as members.

I'm sure the foolhardy will love this event. They'll spend their welfare checks on anything.

You aint kidding. Ooh, how were they able to wrangle Bill Starkey and Tommy Thayer away from their other engagements? And its quite a feat to be able to get some tribute bands as well.

The best thing MISS could do is have all opening bands from 1987-1992 play a show

Why is Tommy a special guest? Who is playing guitar for this then?
Thought Bruce Kulick was doing his own band but is he the actual guitarist?

Just my reading into it. It's well known Eric was pissed when he was ousted for the reunion. He's made it clear it was just a job to him over the years since.

I would have to imagine that him being asked to appear as a special guest rather than as a member of Kiss might rub him the wrong way.

And it is pretty peculiar how he was not announced as a guest at the same time as Tommy.

I hope Bruce still gets his show.

I get the impression they grew out of them a while ago but because of the whole KISS army thing they are still lumbered with them because of KISStory.

Any so called special guest would have to be at least semi KISS related, right? I mean it’s a KISS event after all.

So within that world, who DO we consider special? Outside of Ace and Peter I’m really not sure.

Maybe Doc? For my money Vinnie is always “special”. What about everyone’s favorite blow hard Eddie Trunk?

The guy who directed KISS Meets the Phantom of the Park is dead, so he’s out.

This is an interesting rollout.

Start with "Hey, it's Paul and Gene and maybe others"
then move to "We added Thayer and some tribute bands"

What's next?

Are they waiting to reveal better, more compelling stuff?

Or are they going the other direction, where they'll be adding Paul's son who got the similar rose tattoo as the old man, and Stonebreed.

That would be funny. If there were just tons of hours of nothing going on during the days, and people asking why, and the answer was "We sold the tickets, so that's when we stopped filling the schedule"
