Man, this was tough. I went old, Ripper era, and Faulkner era with Rocka Rolla, Jugulator and Redeemer. But I at least enjoy all those albums except maybe Nostradamus. Really need to give that one another listen, I think I've only made it all the way through it twice.

Sad Wings has double the representation of songs compared to any other album on Unleashed in the East. If it had lower chart position, it's cause they were a baby band on a tiny label, not that the songs didnt kick ass.

Isn't firepower actually their highest charting album in the US?

Also, we had a thread about 2 months ago asking if sad Wings of destiny is overrated! Lol

Your list sucks.

Sad Wings is prety much a Priest classic. I was one of the apparent few who liked Redeemer for what it was. Firepower and Invincible Shield are both really good albums, period.

Pretty meaningless accolade, 20 old geezers buying a record and it makes the charts these days.
That said, is was universally well received, so unpopular is bullshit.

Where's Point of Entry? Is it just popular enough not to make the cut?

PoE is a weird album. Everyone loves most of side 1, Solar Angels is a love/hate song and most agree that the rest of the album is boring filler.
