I just started reading the book Anything for a Hit: An A&R Woman's Story of Surviving the Music Industry by Dorothy Carvello. It's quite interesting so far. Those Atlantic Execs were pretty wild. She started as Ahmet Ertegun's secretary and has some stories.

Atlantic Records huh...? I am guessing if it went into the 90's, there will be some content related to Jason Flom (NY) and Kevin Williamson (LA)?
