Tough luck to lose the gig a couple months after Oasis announce a reunion lineup.

Toger Daktrey is not the principal songwriter of the Who.

First what's his name from GNR and now this, the horror!!
I saw them a while back, like 10 years or something on some revisit of Quadrophenia and they were excellent, the setup was like each musician had a backup person behind them, it was very cool, lots of video, it made me realize how many people stole stuff from them.
TIGER DICKTREE still has pipes, nobody can argue against that, right??

It's good to be bad
It's the best time you'll ever have
What the hell is this ultra sad
Pray for your cool and work on that ass!

He's quoting Zak's TwatX post.

Daltrey doesn't want to tour anymore anyway. Townshend said he'd like to do one last tour but said he's having a hard time convincing Daltrey to do it.
I don't see it being that big of a loss for Starkey. He's been canned from a band that doesn't really plan on playing anymore.

The Who sucks (and blows), never understand why they are considered a top tier/iconic rock band.

Ever consider that they invented the "Marshall Stack"? How about "Tommy", the first rock opera?Wild Obsession wrote: ↑Thu Apr 17, 2025 4:17 am The Who sucks (and blows), never understand why they are considered a top tier/iconic rock band.

Re: The Who fires longtime drummer Zak Starkey
How about the greatest rock bassist, one of the greatest drummers, greatest singers and a guitarist that wrote a shit-ton of all-time great and classic songs (also an outstanding lyricist). Not to mention Pete's stage presence (and Roger's) influencing countless other bands. Sucking and blowing are not anything the Who ever did.tooth wrote: ↑Thu Apr 17, 2025 6:11 amEver consider that they invented the "Marshall Stack"? If message boards had a special Olympics for posting, Wild Obsession would take the Gold medal for this one.
