Layered vocal harmony right out the gate & unnecessry melody change

Huge Manson fan but hate this cover. The slight melody change is irritating.

It’s horrible.

Pretty bad cover. Total killed the build up to the classic drum fill with over instrumentation and heaviness prior to it. The original is pretty minimalist until the drum fill. And the long pause to the drum fill was ridiculous..... I know Phil plays it that way live usually to get the crowd reaction, but unesscessary on a studio version. The layered vocals don't fit the vibe of the song. Trying to do too much with a song that is all about less is best. I am all about making covers your own, but this was too much.

Maybe if this version was the original, it would be ok, but as a cover it is pretty bad. He should have done a Manson style cover of Sussudio. That would have been much more interesting.

The may be my least favorite cover since The Cult "Born To Be Wild".

Another Manson fan here that doesn't like this at all. Boring and just no listening value to my ears at all.

I'm not a MM fan at all, but I like the first half a lot. Drums should have waited for sure and the pause before the fill sucks. Also, the "met, met, met..." is rhythmic and really needs to be there in that space.

New album is great, but this stinks.

He gave it a Manson flavored twist, needed more I thought, but I liked it.

Is he covering 'Riding On The Metro' next?
