Bergoglio was hilarious, but, being Italian, his kind of humour would've got him cancelled in this day and age if the wrong person got to hear it.
Lots of ''a mulignan and a puttana walk into a bar'' type stuff. Or the time he said to the Grand Ayatollah of Iraq ''Hey, at least Muhammad, Mammalucco camel jockey that he was, chose female children, unlike those fanooks in Boston''.
Ratzinger, on the other hand,was not funny at all, the humourless kraut.
