I wrote this for my girlfriend way back when.
It's not bad. Considering it was recorded in a bedroom

I like the keyboards. But, the rest of the song sucks and the guy's voice makes me cringe!

Actually I always known him as "Tony" but that's what everybody else calls him. I spoke to him last week actually. We talke probably every 2 months. The dude has become a mad vinyl collector like as in thousands of Records. His main instrument was actually bass, and he was ahead of everybody playing Steve Harris s***. In the 90s he took a summer job as an exterminator, and he's still thete counting the years to retirement

Not going to happen. I was inspired because that show was fun. The real darkness that has come out it's just tragic.

Oh well shit came out that the main dude behind the show was real dick and ball buster. Everybody liked his wife but apparently he was boning chicks on the show. One of the main actors life became a train wreck and he was on like Dr Phil and stuff . Then word came out that the show might be coming back in some way and there was speculation about would be included and during this time one of the stars the youngest actually, Michelle Trachtenberg, died. It's all just sad

I wonder if a good producer/engineer could've made something out of that? Mix, balance, vocals were all off. Guitar was random. Keyboards were too heavy. But it seems like something might have been there to mine. Maybe become a popular tune among locals at the VFW or wherever you were playing. Props for giving it a go way back when.

Yeah I know what you mean. It's just all this stuff sort of cast a shadow on the light-heartedness of it all.

But there is a re-recorded version. It's no longer The Ballad of Buffy Summers it's just called The Slayer. Better recording and heavier production. I'll post a clip tonight

Don't feel foolish at all. The voice is terrible no matter who it was. Sorry.
