I'll agree with you here. Her solo stuff was garbage, and it became tougher to swallow once she got old and fat. The 1st LP with Nile Rodgers had the best chance at being decent, but it was just an album-long attempt at retreading "Rapture". She needed Blondie more than she wanted to admit. The couple of electro-disco songs she sang for Girgio Moroder on the Scarface soundtrack was the coolest shit she did.
